The pastoral council at St. Henry’s Catholic Community serves an essential function in fostering a sense of unity, purpose, and active involvement within the parish.  It plays a pivotal role nurturing parish activity that inform parishioners about Catholic faith and practice; as well as supporting the mission and vision statements of the Community of St. Henry’s.  Whether it is about expanding parish involvement, strengthening services, faith formation, or

enhancing the church’s facilities, the council listens and helps to reflect the collective vision of its members.  The council provides a safe and respectful space to voice parish challenges.  The heart of the parish council’s responsibilities is the facilitation of meaningful discussions on a broad range of topics relevant to the parish community. Issues may range from liturgical practices, community outreach, spearheading social gatherings and educational programs, fundraising to more personal concerns such as spiritual growth and support systems for parish clergy and staff.  The council’s role is

to lead constructive deliberations aimed at finding solutions and improving parish life.
